Sick Of New Media.
« on: April 25, 2008, 08:38:00 AM »

Hey Guys,

I've been in the scene since early xbox days but i never post...For my 360...I've tried new verbs (singapore) and new TDK (ritek) and my benq 1.41 will not read anything! (disc unreadable) I have 35 other backups on the older verbs + memorex + phillips and they all read fine!!

Sure, like all, i thought it could have been my burner, tried the one on my mac, and getting the same thing. I've read about other posts like these, where someone had the exact same problem and he ended up replacing the laser in his 360drive then it worked. But it doesn't make sense since it has no problem reading any of my previous backups at all.

I've searched and searched and come up with nothing so thats why i'm posting here.

help!

These are the discs im using, both TDK + Verbatim, neither of them are working in my 360, and old ones do work. I've tried burning on my macbook, same thing, so i dont think it is the drive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

what program are you using to burn?

make sure you are burning the .dvd, not the .iso

and also make sure if its in imgburn that you manually set the layer break in the settings
