Hey guys im planning on modded my 360 sometime over the summer following the instructions given in textbook's guide for noobs for the benq drive.
 
Right now i have an unopened 360 and i know my warranty will be void once i open it. (which i dont care about)
I also have a SATA port on my ASUS A7N8X mobo (http://www.driverhea...asus/index.html) That is a link to the spec on the board.
     Q1: Will i need to buy the popular SATA card via PCI slot found on eBay or will i be ok with the mobo i have?

I also have a macBook with a DL DVD burner.
     Q2: Will the macBook burner be ok to burn games or do you think i should get a differant burnner?

and finially i wont have access to my home (windows) computer until i return from school for the summer.  So, i wont be able to update the bios on the benq frequently.
     Q3:  Do you think playing on live with an older bios will get me banned.  By older i mean, the current bios ( if a new bios comes out)
