On Windows Xp Home: Samba Or Relax?
« on: April 26, 2004, 05:23:00 AM »

Hey,

I used relax some months ago to share between my pc and xbox. I want to do this again. But I don't know much about samba. What are the advantages? Or what makes samba different from relax?

thanks  <

to begin with, relax is buggy as hell.. and is'n likely to be fixed (more likely to be removed).

samba doesn't require any extra software on you pc. there a quite a few tuts on how to setup samba. look at the main xbmc forum instead of this one  <

well if you like using relax, i highly suggest using ccxstream. its just like relax but better with both xbmp and xbmc and can be used as a service B)   <
