I've been trying to make a backup of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion GOTY Edition (includes 2 discs) and XBox Live Arcade Unplugged Vol. 1. So far none of my backups are coming out correct. I have followed both 'Textbooks guide', 'XBOX360 Backup Guide by Hollowman'. Both have basically the same instructions which tell the user to use Xbox Backup Creator & then burn. My ISOs seem to come out correctly and pass all the parameters of the stealth check. Also, the burns come out successfully as well; but when I place the discs in my Xbox360 it doesn't read the disc properly. In one attempt using Oblivion disc 1 the game starts. I get the Bethesda logo and then I get the dirty disc error. I researched. According to one thread Xbox Backup Creator _v2.7 has bugs that makes faulty discs or something so I upgraded to Xbox Backup Creator _v2.8.0.275 . I made the ISO for the Oblivion Disc 2 and the Arcade disc and burnt with CloneCD. In both cases the XBox was able to read the disc without the dirty disc error. The 360 can read the disc but it doesn't seem to be able to read the entire disc. For example, with the XBOx Arcade disc I can play Geometry Wars: Evolved flawlessly, but I can't play any of the other games (i.e. Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, Outpost Kaloki X, Wik, etc.). I had the same problem with Oblivion GOTY disc 2. This disc includes The Shivering Isles, and the content pack, Knights of the Nine expansion which you have to install on your 360 hard drive in order use. Using the backup I can get into the install screen on the disc and start the install, but by the end of the install it tells me some components on the disc didn't install correctly.

I also get the same results with Schtrom360Xtract V3.4. I tried to make a backup of Arcade with Schtrom360. ISO successful, burn successful with clonecd, but when I try to use the disc in the 360 only part of the disc is readable. I get an error message saying "Game Error - The game could not start. Please download the game again." (of course I didn't d/l the game; it's coming off the disc.)

I should also mention that I read and write files at 2.5x or less every time.

I've tried to use XDVDMulleterBeta10.2 to check my ISOs before I burn using the crc check, but honestly I can't seem to figure out the prog.  I should also note that when I made my ISOs with Xbox Backup Creator no .dvd file was created. Perhaps this effected the burn?

I've made 4 coasters already. I don't want to waste another disc until I get a second opinion.

My 360 has a Toshiba-Samsung DVD drive with the Samsung.iXtreme.1.4 firmware.

I read the disc with a TSSTCORP DVD-ROM SH-D162 KREON V1.00 firmware revision SB00 and write the disc with a PLEXTOR DVDR   PX-760A firmware revision 1.06.

I use Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs (up to 6x) MKM 001. Specs are below.
Thanks in advance.
