You don't even mention using XBC AutoCopy.  If your discs aren't readable when using Xbox Backup Creator normally, this app won't change that.  You'll need to troubleshoot the cause of your problem (poor media, post-burn verification, 360's drive modded correctly, etc.).

Yes, you'll need a modified Xbox360 DVD-Rom drive with supported firmware to play backup discs.
Try googling: "Hacking the XBOX 360 for Noobs"

XBC AutoCopy v1.2 by IamRock
Xbox Backup Creator v2.8 Build:0275 by Redline99

Hi,
I never usually post on forums, but just joined today 'cos I HAD to send out my thanks to you two as mentioned above and whoever else helped in the creation of these two awesome programs and this forum.

Using these tools, a Samsung 162D with Kreon v1.0 and a LiteOn burner, I've just backed up our copy of GTA IV which is kinda necessary in a household with four kids (and whatever friends turn up to play too!)

It was my first 360 backup and the whole process was painless.  I just worked thru the readme files and read a lot on this forum and had complete success first time around.  I've packed the original disc away safely and they've been playing the backup solidly all weekend without any glitches!

Thanks again for all the effort that's clearly gone into these releases!

Need a little help here. I get an error message from XBC saying (note that XBC works perfect if I don't go through the 1 Click automated script):

QUOTE
The disk seems to be unlocked in the mode with both partitions available.
This mode is not currently supported.

I've modified and double checked my ini file and I still get the error.
Can somebody help?

NOTES:

#1: IMPORTANT: Before using this script for the first time, you must use XBC once
normally and select this folder for the copy and burn so XBC remembers it.
You may need to repeat this step after upgrading Xbox Backup Creator. Also,
do not use a folder with other files since ALL FILES in this folder will be
    deleted upon completion!

#2: You can copy the drive string from the log portion on the bottom of XBC
(after "Found ODD: "), but this setting must reflect the drive letter in
    front of the string like the drop-down. e.g:"[D] TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162C TS05"

The disk seems to be unlocked in the mode with both partitions available.
This mode is not currently supported.

The only time I've seen that error is when someone is trying to backup a copied game, which isn't supported.  Is it possible that you used Xbox Backup Creator to successfully backup the original game, and then tried XBC AutoCopy to backup the copy?  To backup a copy, use SlySoft's CloneCD instead.
