Lost Odyssey Freezing

So at about 3:30 mark of playing disc one of Lost Odyssey backup I made, it froze.  I turned off my 360 and put it back on and now when I goto load my last save, the game loads and the drive sounds like its trying, and then it just gives up and freezes.

This is my first backup.  I set the layer break correctly, i know that.  I am using Verbatims 2.4x and I don't know where they were made.  I used IMGburn.

Any ideas as to why this might be?

I am going to try clonecd and see if it makes a difference, but in the meantime, do you guys have suggestions?

Burning with Clone CD appears to have fixed the problem... I didn't change any settings.

Anyone know why this might have happened?

I ordered them on Newegg, I don't know if they are MII or MIS... but apparently the 8x Verbatim's are all MIS so I just bought some of those and will see how they work out
