I have been reading thru alot of posts lately and this to me still seems confusing and im seeking clarification.
I had made backups in the past by doing the disc swapping and then inject dmi, ss, and pfi later.
i soon learned that doing them that way is not good/secure. I got myself a SH-D162C drive and put the Kreon firmware on it and used Xbox Backup Creator 2.6 and just did a complete backup.
lately tho i have been reading on posts that games created with that drive arent secure afterall.
i do have a samsung drive from the 360 that i have connected to my PC and can see it in windows, should i use this instead of the kreon drive D162C?
and also what program is the best to back them up with?
i have almost always used Xbox Backup Creator, but i have also read that the only way to back them properly is thru Schtrom. Is this true?
any help would be much appreciated, i never post much, i always try and answer my own questions by reading lots of posts, but in this case everyone seems to have their own opinion on how they are to be backed up for most secure and correctly patched. So if you know what the correct method for backing games is, Kreon SH-D162C or the Samsung drive from the 360?
and what program should i be using for extraction of image from original prior to burn?
Oh and I use a Pioneer 111 burner.
Thank you all for your time and responces in advance.
