I have an older XBOX 360 with older firmware. COD4 backup worked at first, but now no longer works. Gives me mixed media disk. Do I need to update to a new firware, or is it bad media DVD DL. Or is there a patch for COD4.

you have to give us more info what dvd drive do you have what firmware is it flashed with and most important what kind of media are you using

Have the same prob here after burning with decrypter.  Made successful .iso from original and checked the "user specified" radio button for insertion of layer break in "ISO Write Mode"tab.  Maybe should have left to "Calculate Optimal" radio button instead.  One expensive coaster on the barb huh.  My other options are set to "DVD, SAO, Auto.  I haven't changed any other options anywhere else.  I decided to try again without setting the layer break options and see what happens.

Hopefully there will be no more mix mode media crap after this burn.

Well that was the problem as I suspected.  Everything works great now.
