Burning On A Samsung? Problem?
« on: December 20, 2007, 04:34:00 PM »

Playing back-ups of my games is driving me nuts, Had to replace launch day console with a new laser and it played a test game my freind gave me!

When ever i burn on my Samsung TSSTcorp SH-S182M They Unrecodnize Disk asks me to clean it!
Using IMGBURN on verbatim dual layer with no results, costerd 10disks!:(

Any1 had luck using that model of burner!? Any Idea what im doin Wrong?

Have you tried updating the firmware for your burner? http://samsungodd.com/

Are you using Verbatim media?  Also you could try testing  the media on your computer; scan it for errors and whatnot.

Which kind of Verbatim media? The Made In India stuff is definitely of inferior quality.

Ah-HA! Thank you guys for all trying to help! Has been a Quest! Kinda lost interest in backing up and just wanted to make it work as a challange! However Today i found a Pioneer 115D for £18 so i thot what the hell, burned with verbatim again (singapore btw) and still no love! But Datawrite have saved the day!

That 46D is a heap of crap replaced the laser, Boosted the pot up to 3.2 got a new burner and costerd 17 Verbatim DVD+r DL but (touch wood) the last few hours have been Great!!! Now i can stop my games getting mashed at my student halls!

Hope this helps anyone with a 46D and problems!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif)
