Well,  I just modded my Hitachiv59 with iXtreme 1.2rc3.  Yay me!  Now, Im just wondering what are all the precautions I can take to make sure my games rip AND burn completely and %100 safely.  I need to know things like write speed, certain type of disk, unplug ethernet cable, etc that will make it as unlikely as possible that I will get banned.

Now for a few questions.

1-Is it legal to download ISOs off the internet, if you do have the original game?
2-I know making a 1:1 copy is the safest way, but why is that any safer than someone else making the copy, then letting you download it?  
3-Does changing my DVD ROM read speed do anything besides make it quieter and make loadings longer?
4-Can someone out there explain "stealthed" disks and games.
   a) Are there any programs that can check if a game is stealthed?
   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) How do I "stealth" my ripped games?
