just wondering is it common for hitachi drives to fail?
tried to burn a few images with the pioneer 109 and they just come up as unplayable disc in my 360.
bought a new dvd drive thinking thats the problem and the 212 gives the sames results.
tried a few older backups and they all works ok (the drive is kinda spinning more than usual i believe)
the 212 has firmware version 1.24 on it and it seems to set the book type to dvd-rom which is ok.
tried imgburn, xbc and clone cd still no luck.
anyone got any suggestions?
is it possible to replace the dvd drive in a 360?
