how have you made the backups?
software?
drive?
What versions fw you have on your ms28 and speed (slow/fast)
I noticed in several topics u always ask that... But i dont see the importancy of how i made it since they boot just fine no dde's or other issues.. Its just that i have annoying skippy movies at times (not always).
But ill summarize some info none theless:
1. XBC 2.6 = ripp
2. Tried imgburn, decrypter, xbc, and clonecd for burning all give me the same results except for clonecd and patcoufin driver i once tried. Using clonced and that coufin driver resulted in an coaster halfway the burn gave me write erros on verbatims, media wich never failed before.
3. Verbatim mkm001 mainly 2,4x
4. ms-28 Ix1.2c = FAST
I like to state that i always have had that problem from day 1 when i got my xbox whit firmware 4.1a back then.
Back then i used my old nec-3500a wich is one of the best writers in the old days.
I thought why not buying an pioneer drive for this purpose, since everyboddy is so full of it. Well, its just the same scenario... One time that specific movie stutters/freezes and sometimes it plays all the way throug whitout 1 hickup!! And i MEAN CGI movies especialy not ingame graphics scenes!!
Edit 1: I almost forget, i watch allot of movies i backed up on Verbatim +r mcc004 and Tayo Yuden 03 aswell they all play just fine whitout any issues. Why is it i can watch movies from dvd+R JUST FINE regardless of wot lens i use or pot setting. ill backup an an full dual layer movie to see if the problem is related to DL +r backups or not!!
Also, i just tried to boot a game burned on an ritek on an pot tweaked lens of 2.85 OHm (the maximum u can tweak before u burn out the lens inst it) And u know wot it doesnt accept the game. That very same lens accept other games just fine.
NOw, i then installed yet another Lens i had lying arround. The lens wos tweaked at 3.20 Ohm and amazingly it booted that ritek game just fine whitout any problems!!!!?

so WOT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!???
