Having problems burning my backup of COD4.

1st attempt to burn got me to 100% completion but the "writing session 1 leadout" took forever.  elapsed time continues to tick ahead but my pioneer 111d's activity light isn't flickering.

I thought maybe its the disc and tried a new verbatim dl, again burned at 2.4x and it got to 100% at 38 mins, but now I'm currently at 58 mins and counting and still at the "writing session 1 leadout" section.  

Haven't had this problem before, any thoughts?
