My Eternal Sonata Back-up Does Work On Ixtreme Benq
« on: November 06, 2007, 02:56:00 PM »

I have a Eternal Sonata game, so I made a back-up and it does play fine on my previous x360 with Samsung ms25, I also tried it on a Hitachi of a friend, but it does not work properly after the NANCO logo, freezing at a white scream in my Halo 3 Benq Ixtreme.
Anyone knows how to fix it? or should I wait for a rev version.

Probably would help to know what firmwares were on the other two drives that accepted it in order to figure out the problem.

Also, what did you rip the original with?  What kind of disc did you burn to?

I have the exact same problem, original eternal sonata runs fine but on backup it freezes right after the logo like stated.  coppied using swap method also mulleter tells me everything is fine crc and autofix comes up with no problem.  waiting on my kreon drive also so will let you know if kreon backuped ES works.

its a halo edtion xbox (benq)
ixtreme 1.1 fast
wxripper 1.2
xdvdmulleter 10.2
Verbatim
tried 1x, 2.4x, 4x speeds

works if you inject the security files.  the security files were ripped from the original using a sammy 360 drive crc checks out fine by mulleter.  anyone else have this problem with the halo edition 360 and eternal sonata backup?

Its the game. I used like 4 dl's that i thought were coasters....but after running the original in xbox live and running the update those "coasters" were backups! So just run the original in xbox live and run the update, that will take care of the problem....TOOK ME MORE THAN A WEEK to figure this out with eternal sonata..

My 360 never was on live actually there's never ever been an ethernetcable plugged in and still my backup works perfectly. Made it with the SH-D163B and XBC and played on BenQ with ix1.4.
Or did they fix the problem in the PAL-Version?
