Burner With Vista Support
« on: November 07, 2007, 05:01:00 AM »

Currently I got a LiteOn LH-18A1P internal burner, thats what I always used for burning my backups but after I got a new comp and started using vista premium 64bit I keep getting bad backups and power calibration error in imgburn when trying to burn in slow speed(2.4). I sent a mail to liteon about the problem and they told me it was because the burner didnt support windows vista. So is there any list of working burners for 360 backups (also need for wii backups) that support vista? Anyone have any recomandation? thanks in advance!

is pioneer 112d te sahe/as good as 112? if I could get a working burner for vista 64bit that would been the best and easiest solution.

maybe not best but easiest (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm using Vista 32bit - Working SH-162 D for ripping and Pioneer 112 for burning.  No problems at all

does pioneer 112d work? whats the difference between 112 and 112d, cant find any place that sells 112 here in norway, only 1 place that has 112d and 212. Anyone can confirm that this work?

"The DVR-112D dual-format drive provides identical write performance to the DVR-112 multi-format drive, but excludes DVD-RAM writing support, thus enabling consumers to select a DVD writer which is best-suited to their exact storage needs."

Isnt it the dvd-ram settings I need to backup 360s? Remember I changed some bit settings to something like that on my old liteon.

No, it's DVD-rom. not DVD-RAM

112 and 112 D is the same, without that DVDram thing. 212 is the SATA version of the 112D.

Bought myself a 112d now, but the problem is that vista wont find it. I find it it the bios but vista doesnt. I remembered reading something about that some weeks ago but now I cant find it again. Anyone got any suggestions on how to find it?(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (except installing xp)
