Now, just to start off, I have been searching and reading tutorials, but I am a little lost. I am interested in making my own backups of the 360 games, but I dont know if what I have works. Here is a quick rundown of what I have available to me:

*Note: all drives have OEM fw's in them*

Xbox360 drive: Benq with fast fw

Now, My question is can any of the PC drives be cross-flashed or use a hacked fw to be able to do a proper backup with the ixtreme fw in my benq drive? Or, can any of those drives be used to make a working raw dump by following this tutorial? -> http://traptrakz.com/X360/tutorial/

The only drive I would NOT like to do the raw dump/hotswap on is the SCSI drive, but if I must then I must. To be honest, my income is limited and I do not have alot of extra cash to spend on un-needed items.

no, you need a ss.bin extracted with Kreon (or x360 samsung but you have benq) drive anyway. So you need the Kreon is you have a Benq in your x360
