Mis Vs Mii - Here's Why Mis Is Best
« on: October 25, 2007, 08:00:00 PM »

These are both Verbatims, both burned at 4x on the same pioneer 112d, 1.23 firmware. The difference between the MIS and MII is very clear.

First the MIS.

Now the MII. Notice the layer break is pronounced, and the PIF's are MUCH higher.

Don't go entirely from the graphs, look at the totals for the PI and PIFs.

I admit that I was a bit skeptical before. There's no arguing that the quality of something made in India doesn't compare, but this really opened my eyes. I sure hope the MIS verbs don't go away (but I picked up 50 of em today, just in case!)

Yup, your findings are just one of several that are out there that prove this theory.  Add that to reports of factory scuffed discs, spotted dye, ect. from the MII discs and you get a clearer picture of why they aren't nearly as highly recommended.
