I purchased a SH-D162C pre-flashed and I'm having a problem with it reading blank DVD's.  I have a 20 pack of Verbatim DVD+R DL's.  I'm using Xbox Backup Creator 2.6 and when I put a one of my blank DVD's in the drive it always says no media present.  If I put one of my original 360 games it see's it and I can back it up.  I've installed the drive in a second computer (both run windows XP) I get the same results.  And I've tried different DVD's from this 20 pack I bought.

Any idea what might be going on?

shd162c is a DVDROM only (not a burner), it wont recognize blank media.
