My Trusty Pioneer 111d Suddenly Failing To Burn Imgs.
« on: October 05, 2007, 10:32:00 PM »

Hello guys, I'll keep this short.

I'm in need of assistance, it appears after about a solid year of trusty CloneCD burning of my 360 backup discs, CloneCD is starting to pop up with errors of "Pioneer 111d failed to write" error messages. I recently updated my firmware to 1.29. Could this be the problem? I have tried to burn 3 different imgs I made - and I am 100% sure they were built correctly. Is this because of the new firmware? Any info would be awesome. Thank you!

(edit: Also I think it would be helpful to mention, this started giving me errors before I upgraded the firmware.)

Media?  Have you tried IMG Burn instead?  IMHO IMG Burn is the superior burning program for 360 applications.

It was actually one random Verbatim disc in the spool... For some reason I got one disc that was a dud. I tried burning the imgs in 3 programs (CloneCD, ImgBurn, XBOX Backup Creator), and it was just the one disc.. weird.
