Xbc-made Xbox1 Backup Not Ixtreme Compatible?
« on: October 03, 2007, 11:49:00 AM »

Hi,

I am trying to make a XBox 1 backup to play on a iXTreme 1.2-patched XBox 360 using the latest XBox Backup Creator (v2.6.0260). I am starting from a retail original disk, am using a Kreon drive and followed the steps in the tutorial here in the forums.

Everything goes well, but when I then check the created iso in XDVDMulleter (beta 10.1), the 'Random padding' and 'iXtreme compatible' checkboxes are not validated. So this most likely means this image will not work on iXTreme 1.2. Right?

So, is there a way to create a 'random-padded' XBox 1 iso with XBC? If not, how can I add this random padding afterwards?

Thanks.

Are you trying single or double layer format? It has to be dual layer for ixtreme.

Dual layer, the resulting iso size is 7.28 GB (7,825,162,240 bytes)

Probably that the xbox1 disc is scratched or you have accidentally checked some weird option in XBC (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Only used the default options in XBC. The only setting I do not really understand is the 'Use sector mapper', which is checked in my case. Should I uncheck it? What is it's use?
