I just got my x360 modded firmware flash with the latest flash that is not banned.
some back up games do not work dirt and pirates of the caribbean any ideas why? thanks the disks are fine cause they work in my friends x360 thanks

Having the same problem with mine.  Well I only have one backup game though.  

Backup works 1 out of 100x on my box(used box bought from ebay with Samsung drive).  Took the same disc on my firends box and it works fine.  He bought his new less than a year ago and he has a hitachi drive.

I always thought that the samsung drives were one of the better drives.   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Anyway I think I'm going to lower the resistance on my drive to help increase the voltage to the laser and see what the turn out is.  If it still does not work then I might need to get a new laser.  Although I don't think I have seem any replacemnt laser on any of the obvious site for a sammy drive.

new lasers on ebay are only about $20, brand new too!
