Hotswapping Question
« on: September 21, 2007, 08:38:00 AM »

for ripping 360 games, I am using the hotswapping method with my DVD drive. The only problem is that my data discs are only 7.81GB in size and I need them to be 8GB+ in size. does anyone have a list of popular movies that are over 8GB in size that would work with the hotswapping method? thanks.

Wxripper makes no sense anymore, how will you extract the SS?

you need a samsung or a Kreon drive, you would make you backup at the same time?

Hey dark, ive only used 2 different movies to do my hotswap (no offense to soso, but im not gonna pay $50+ for a dvd drive to backup my games when there are other methods that require 2 more steps and save me that much more money)

I use Shrek 2, or the Patriot, both are DL and are 7.8-7.9 in size...

ugh...you dont need a dvd higher then 8gb, strictly because there isnt a 360 game over 8 gigs....

every iso you ever make with exripper will be 7.3 i d beleive (least mine have been and work fine)

and dont worry about the SS/DMI/PFI crap, just get Xdvdmulleter and correct it with the online database (I fail to see how this could be considered illigal, as backing up your *own* copy is pretty much the same thing....regardless)

just some people dont wanna waste extra cash on a different burner when they dont need to..

Backed up all my games with hotswap method, works great!
