My first 360 died on me from the dreaded 3rlod.  Im on my second one now, and want to flash it myself.  I've done alot of reading, but am slightly confused with these new firmwares.  First off, I have the Samsung ms25 drive, a kreon flashed pc drive and xbox backup creator.  I have used the kreon drive and xbox back up creator in the past to create perfect back ups.  With the newest firmware (ixtreme firmware 1.2 rev C) is making backups with those current programs the same??  Can I make a stealth extreme back ups with xbox backup creator?  If so, is that done automatcially or is there some setting that needs to be changed??  Im not really worried about getting on xbox live, so should I use another firmware??  I read some people are having problems with the quiet and the quick of ver 1.2

yes Kreon and XBCr 2.5 will do fine, and will include all the stealth, absolutely everything is included (in fact it is the best way of doing it).

SOme people are having problem with the quiet version, it has always been like that even when we Xtrem 5 the quiet version was a bit more difficult.
