Strange Problems With The Darkness

pression. how have you made your backup?
Drive-FW / software.

prophet you have the right tools, have tried another game to be sure your setup is still good, maybe try redoing it (could be a bad disk??)

I'm wondering if either...

A) The new slowed down 1.2b ixtreme will fix the problem.

or

cool.gif A new laser with the faster read spead 1.2 will work

As I said in the OP,   Kreon 163A and a Pioneer 111d, XBC.  Been doing it for over 100+ games, everything else works fine, this my only problem.  I can still rip and burn whatever else my heart desires.. it is only THE DARKNESS... now, any opinions?  Everything done exactly the same..everything else running fine, no disc errors at all or had I ever had any till I put this game in..

I do not get it,
usually when a specific game gives trouble (post), it is during the ripping???

if all others do fine, it has to be your original disc. play the original, be careful, and if ever you have a prob return it as defective.

heh.. or take it back to the store and say you couldnt back it up properly, and youd like an exhange.

well, or just go exchange it as defective.

im having the same problem i ripped and burned this stupid game 5 times with my kreon drive and my lite on burner using verbs at the slowest speed possible and nothing

ok i had firm 1.2b i just flashed backed to 1.0 and it still froze up so i unplugged my hdd and the game is working flawlessly now plug the hdd back in and it freezes so it isnt the game in my opinion its something to do with my hdd. i tried clearing the cache but that didnt work either so?

the same problem, burn it with clone cd, verbatim, firmware ixtreme 1.2, my game freezing with dirty disc, all my other games work fine, i unplugged my hdd and the game work fine

this is definitely a hard drive issue im almost positive doing this has solved the problem 4 about 6 of my friends including myself

go to the system tab on the 360 dash and go to memory
high light your hard drive
then press y xx lb rb xx
and the game should work perfect
i dont get it i had massive problems with this game until i did this
and it hasnt locked up or gave the dirty dics error since

What actual does that key combination do to the hard drive ?

it removes all title-updates

but this doesn't smell good if you need other updates if playin from backup!
