Problem With My Backup
« on: June 13, 2007, 10:07:00 AM »

Hi everyone i am very new to the 360, i just got my first, it has been flashed.

Right i got 4 origianal games with my 360 and want to back up all 4.

Now i used XBC to do the copy everything seemed to go fine. unless i did something wrong

But anyway after the burn process finished i put the disc into the 360 and the first screen booted up saying "press start to continue" when i press start the screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

I am not sure what media i got. they were on a spindle with the xbox when i bought it.  they are just full white face but no label.

Orinianals work fine.

Also 1 of the origianal's that came with it also had a backup and that also works fine does that probably mean the blank media is a cheap inferior brand.

I will buy some verbatim if so

any idea where best to buy in uk

Those could be white printable verbatims... there were on sale awhile ago and I bought some.

Assuming the media is good.. and you backup methods are good.. the last peice is the burner...

What burner are you using?

If they are printable Verbatims, in the center it will say "Verbatim DVD+R DL".

no it says nothing i get the feeling they are some kind of JPN fake datawrite. i just asked the guy i bought it from he said they are dataWrite.  I dont know anything about media disks so i dont even know if they exist but when i burn using XBC it said something like JPN0001 or something like that.

Again if any one can tell me where i can get some good quality media from in the U.K i would be very greatfull
