How have you extracted your game (forza), program , drive?

The game he gave you, redo one of them from the original to verify if it is your forza disc the problem.

You didn't really answer the specific questions
1. Does your original Forza disc play ok
2. How did you make the backup of the Forza disc.

No much experience with one off's not working, but i have the same problem now.  So could it be the laser?  Would this simply effect one backup and not the rest randomly though?
