hi i tried again it says "fail to lock up volume for exclusive access"?

You are using XBCr with which drive to extract?

are you sure you are closing all applications that can lock DVD like anydvd, alcohol...

What size are the resulting backup (those that worked) and do they pass th image stealth test in XBCr/image tool.

go in XBC / image tool/ stealth check choose the image.
