I have a few albums that did not resolve through the IMDB and thus have no album cover art.  For these few I would like to manually add the album cover art to the album folder.  

I have added the picture "folder.jpg" and included it in the "folder" contents, but this doesn't seem to work.  What am I doing wrong?  

BTW the pictures I am using are approx 20KB in size.

Works beautifully for me. Have you tried the "Index" function? Sometimes I need to do a index run before XBMC recognises the folder.jpg files.  <

Yes I have tried the index function.....deleted the Music.DB file and rescanned....still no joy

the picture have to obey a certain size if you want to use it as thumbs. I think its 64x64.  

the way i get pictures is at yahoo.  type the name of the picture you want and click on the "images" tab.  click "search".   look for the picture you want and right click and save.  it's the acceptable size to work in xbmc  <

try and check out www.imdb.com thats where xbmc pulls its images from for movies when you scan them. They're probably compatable  <

well I tried pulling a thumb from the IMDB database and using it as a template for size etc and it still didn't work

It shouldn't make a difference if I am streaming the music from a folder on my PC, right?  (using XBMS protocol)
