Backups Not Working Well
« on: March 17, 2007, 09:50:00 AM »

Hi
I have ms28 with xtreme 5.2c
using Pioneer 111D and Verbatim DVD+R DL 2,4x but all my burns freeze, sometimes with dirty disk error. Is there any solution for this ?

I used Xbox_Backup_Creator_v2.4.0.225 to build the iso

I am assuming you are trying them at read speed 12X.

With a pioneer 111/verbatim/ripped with XBC you seem to have most of the common cause covered  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

Which program to burn (try XBC and imgburn) , at what speed.
you can check them against the image ( How to verify a burn )

It could be your X360 drive that is not the most performant, and require an adjustment.
To know where is the problem, find a friend that has a working setup. Bring your original and backup to test them on his X360. Bring one of his known working original and corresponding backup and test it on your x360. It will tell you if the problem is the DVD your are producing or your X360 Drive.

I am reading at full speed but also tried at slower speed nothing changed.
I used latest ImgBurn and CloneCD write speed 1x and 2,4x.
Also I verified the DVD.

"It could be your X360 drive that is not the most performant, and require an adjustment." you mean the Xbox 360 Dvd Pot Calibration Tut V1.0 By Moda

My console is PAL I heard that they have cheap lasers

I also see this as my last chance now.

Thank you
