Sh-d163a Just Reading Or Burning Too?
« on: March 09, 2007, 05:35:00 AM »

I've got a SH-D163A on the way and plan on using it with Schtrom and XBCr to ripp some backups.  Is this drive also suitable for burning the backups?  I've read that some people use a Pioneer for their burining.  Do I really need a second burner or can I just have a one burner (SH-D163A) setup?

Thanks,

Plse do (as you are suppose to) a minimum reasonable effort of searching before posting. Many obvious questions, for which the answer would have been found easily. By respect to all who invest time in helping us, plse read the following extracted from the rules and thks for your cooperation (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

you google it , look at the spec and it will say it is not a burner, only to read.

With that said, it is recommended that before you consider making a post in ANY forum on this site that you first review the Pinned/Sticky Topics at the top of the forum you are interested in. Chances are, anything you might want to ask, has already been asked and answered there. If not, do a search. No one likes to answer the same question a 1000 times. If you make a post that has been done many many time before, staff might close it, or merge it with others.

So.. before making a post, check existing topics.. both pinned, and by search. Still think you should/can make a post?
