Pioneer Dvr-112d Or Dvr-111d
« on: March 08, 2007, 11:53:00 AM »

Hi guys, well my benq has failed me on 10 fuji DVD+R DL's on both imgburn and clonecd. I'm quite cheezed at my Benq 1610 mad.gif So i figure why not jump in the boat and fit in with the rest who have these golden pioneer burners  biggrin.gif Now the computer stores in my area carry both the pioneer DVR-112D and the DVR-111D Which would be the better choice for burning a back up? Any pros and cons? Not looking to compare against other brands. I'm looking for answers between both burners and feedback from users of both burners. Would really like some light on this. Thanks!

Good link.  Twas going to ask about the 112D since I just received one from a vendor on eBay.  Didn't ask for it.  Bid/won a 111D but was sent a 112D.  Didn't want the hassle of waiting for a replacement, etc.  If the 112D is just as good and a bit faster... then I'll keep what I got.  Thanks again for the above link.

Incidentally you might want to keep an eye on futureshop since every few weeks they put their 20 packs on DL Verbatim on sale for rediculously low prices.

Unfortunately, the fact that so many people are using them with success and following the activities in the specialized forums like cdfreaks clearly demontrates that for most users it is the opposite . Not only has it remained a top burner in terms of the burn quality but also for its reliabiliity.

Sorry  sad.gif  to see that it has not served you well.
