Trouble With Img Burn
« on: March 07, 2007, 09:20:00 AM »

I was having a Problem using clone so I switched to Img Burn and it worked fine for 3 backups.
Now all of a sudden I get this error.

Device IO Control (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
Device: [0:1:0] _NEC DVD_RW ND-3540A 1.01 (E:) (ATA)

Unable To lock Volume for exclusive Access

Reason: Access Denied

I ran out of Verbatim and tried Memorex and it worked for 3. Now this error. Hope someone can help. I did a search and found one other thread like this but it was closed before any asnwers were posted.
I been looking on here for over an hour so please help me.
Thanks in advance.

seems like another program on your PC is using  the drive you selected.

close all other progs, or reboot and try from there.

Rebooted the PC and made sure all other progs were off. Worked just fine.
I wonder if it may be caused due to me burning across the network?
The Backup is on my PC and the Burner is on the office PC.
Anyway it worked great and thank you so much for your help.
Xbox-Scene rules as always.
