Information:
Windows XP SP2
TS MS25
Verbatim DVD+R D/L (Enable0800 Disk)
VIA 6421 PCI SATA - Driver: 5.1.2600.530

Situation:
I boot up the 360 (with the comp off) and insert the 0800.iso disk. Let it run for 20 sec, eject it and boot up the comp. The 360 drive doesnt show up on preboot and when windows is loading up the loading screen freezes.

Ive tried another method of leaving the 0800 disk in the 360 drive whilst windows boots up, same deal. Also, tried the following:

BOOT PC (SAMMY connected to PCI SATA but 360 powered OFF)
After windows finishes booting completely, Turn on the 360
and Insert enable 0800 disk.
Right Click My Computer, Hardware, then Device Manager
Find your card under SCSI/RAID controllers:
Disable the device,
Enable the device.

Did not work..

I put my sata card in another computer, did all the before stated tests, and once again, with the xbox 360 hooked up and running, the windows freezes on bootup, then continues to run a little later, but no drive showing up in My Computer. So i presume it is the Sata card...
