If i connect my hitachi 76 to my pc can i use schtrom xtract or Xbc to rip the game and also rip the ss,dmi,pfi or do those programs only work with samsung drives?

you need to search a bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ,
in the pinned there is a tutorial for XBC and it mentions only for Samsung.

I must assume you mean a Hitachi 78 (not 76), so anyway you cannot extract the SS. Afraid you need a SHD162C to do your backup.

I hope redline99 will eventually updates it so we can use our hitachi drives. Unless it is impossible.

It has nothing to do with redline, the Hitachi firmware does not allow extraction of the game partition ( and of the SS for the v78).
Redline wishes just like you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) that he could extract from Hitachi.
