Burning Games
« on: March 03, 2007, 01:46:00 PM »

I am trying to burn a copy of a few games and everytime i start the burning process it stops working at about 22-24%.  I am using pinoeer 111D, verbatium disk, clone CD.  I have burned 2 copies of games before and now this problem is happening with the last 4-5 games i have tried any help would be helpful.  Also the firmware is up to date.

Thank You

Is CloneCD the only program running when you burn or are you running several other programs?  At what speed are you burning at?  Have you tried burning at the slowest speed possible at 2.4x?

often the image or the media

1) what media are you using

2) Are original playing fine & how have you done the backup?
-for ss.bin which software & drive
-for game.iso which software & drive
-how was it merged

I am burning at 2-2.4 and no nothing is running in the backround.

I used whatever the turtorial told me to use.

I am not on my main computer atm so cannot say what it is but it is the same thing that i did with the first two and for some reason now it doesn't work even with the 2 that i had saved as a back up that worked before.

Also its being done from a laptop could that be a problem?

Any other ideas?

Could it be cloneCD?

The only thing i did was update the fireware to what people here have said works best.

Are you trying to burn the backup on the laptop? not sure if your laptop burns with booktype setting. I use the Pioneer 111D myself. Might be your laptop burner if thats what your using.

With a pioneer 111 on verbatim things are usually going pretty well, unless the image is not good.

I just burnt a game from my desktop and it worked perfectly.  What could it be from my laptop.  I burnt my first 2 games with it and now its not working at all.  I have an Emachine.

Nice way to say the image is good, but still help me on how to burn.

Since you do not want to answer where the image comes from,

Closed and, do not remake it.
