@sosotiit: I've used the new XBC 2.4 and the disc created says "unplayable disc" on my hitachi w/ garyopa.
So this is what I did:
- Read image using XBC 2.4 complete backup [still have to unlock drive to get to 6.81GB] on my sammie D162C kreon 0.81.
- Do a stealth check under image tools for my image that just created. Video is valid and all are present so no drama here.
- I also did the uncheck "FW branding check" as per redline99 comment on his XBC 2.4 release thread.
- Burnt image with 2.4x and XBC burn engine.
- The filesize of the image after burning it using LG GSA-4166B 1.02 is 7,395,392KB, exactly match to my other backup that I've succesfully done before. All previous succesful backup were burnt using the same LG burner. As for media I always use Verbatim, just like the scene recommend best.
Insert the disc on my 360 and bam... the "unplayable disc" comes up. I've tried my original and it plays fine.
I've made 3 coaster so far, the first 2 is done using xbc 2.3 and filesize were all wrong. What I did was using the xbc 2.3 and extract PFI, DMI and SS then use SS merger with "pad with blank", "untick NME compat ISO" and it comes up with a rather bigger filesize than my other backup images. So I give it a try burnt the image and there the unplayable disc error at the end.
I can't remember what I did on my first coaster.
So... my question is:
Should I still extract current partition "using SPTI" on XBC 2.4 then extract all SS,DMI,PFI then get the video.iso using schtrom 3.2 then merge all of them on SS merge 1.7b?
OR
Could it be my burner not compatible to burnt this particular image? I'm so getting the pioneer if so
Sorry if I bend any rules here, avid reader but 1st or 2nd poster here.
Cheers
