Layerbreak Is 1913761 After Burn
« on: February 28, 2007, 09:53:00 PM »

I made my 1st backup it works but LO is at 1913761 when I verify it.  The game works but when I check it and show this. I set up everything the way it should be. I set it to 1913760 (in imgburn) and it changed it after the burn was done. IT DOES WORK but, want to know why did it change it and if it's OK. Thanks!

I did use your link to verify it. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=582729

They all show 1913761. Even though I set it for 1913760. Don't know why after it burn the number changed.

Here is the log from above:

17:00:53 Verifying Layer 1... (LBA: 1913761 - 3697695)

[edit] Can M$ even tell?? If the game works and there not going to ban me, then I don't care. Just wanted to know why it did that.

You said that already,
But when you put it in verify, in the same window I am showing you, what does it say in the last two lines?
It would not be crazy that layer 1 starts at 1913761 if layer 0 uses 1013760  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

First time I see this one  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ,
If the game plays well, it might be just the verification that is wrong??
AS for what MS can tell or not, who knows? all speculations. Will MS start checking your disc played offline to potentially ban you ??? all discussion on that must be in that thread.

I uninstall on the new computer. Made sure folder was gone. Restarted the computer and reinstalled. Same thing.

Layer 0 Sectors: 1,913,761 (51.76%)
Layer 1 Sectors: 1,783,935 (48.24%)

So.. as long as it works! smile.gif
