A Couple Of Questions About Xbc 2.4
« on: February 27, 2007, 11:24:00 AM »

ok so now its fixed for games like crackdown and STL right? ok i want to make perfect copies, of my discs SS.bin, PFI.bin, DMI.bin, Video.iso, Game.iso, the whole shebang. to get the real video.iso i need to uncheck fill video partition and then XBC will make a "Perfect Copy" right? i like having the video so i know if something goes wrong. According to sosotiit's tut a few topics down, you dont even have to unlock the drive just open XBC and pop in the game and rip. even when it says 6.87mb or 5.87mb whatever that is? i mean i dont want to have to use Schtrom and individually dump each part then merge with SS merger.

oh yeah i still have my other backups on my comp and i never unchecked the fill video part can i inject the video.iso in to those game images?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ,
with XBCr 2.4, all you do is put in the game and rip, everything is there.
to verify, you open in xbcr the image tool/stealth check and verify your image.

All the workaround was cuased when the video partition started being different (with star trek legacy), before that, it was rip and burn.

I Do not recommend reinjecting, put the original in with 2.4 press start, and then burn  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I figured this would be the best topic to post this question in since I don't want to start a new one. When I run the stealth check in XBC it passes everything is valid but theres a * next to video. Any idea what this means? Also in XBC 2.4 should I uncheck Add Filler to Video? Thanks.

you should post this in the XBCreator 2.4 thread. Pretty sure it is nothing to worry about.
