Verbatim 8X 8.5GB DVD+R Dual Layer 30-Pack Spindle

For anyone located in Canada in the GTA area (I am in Markham):

I personally know someone that is selling their geniune made in Singapore still sealed 30-pack Verbatim DVD+DL spindle. These are going for $80+ plus tax in retail and the ones made in Singapore are rare and better than the ones made in Taiwan.

They have purchased many of these previously and have no use for them anymore. I helping him sell them and he's offering them for $65/pack flat. PM me for quote, $5 off if you buy 2/more. Get them while quantities last.

If anyone from the USA has a sams club membership, or knows a person who does. They have a stack of 50 for $60-70 i believe.

I managed to grab a 20 pack of verbatim DVD+RDL @ 2.4x 8.5GB for $24.99 at futureshop.... I normally dont deal with these pricks and just goto a custom pc store in my neighborhood, but they were closed on sundays and i wanted to try my new xbox w/ a flashed reader and so i went there.... i noticed the 8x were like 60$ for 20 pack.... iuno mine worked great... my dvd burner only writes dual layer at 4x... but i noticed on the package it sayed it can do up to 6x... Iuno they work fine, burnt 7 games so far (wraped one already too haha) and all fine.... I have also used a maxell disc for a game and it seemed to work fine (i like maxell I use there dvd'rs for my wii and data backup... back in my psx days i used verbatim and maxell cdr's they were the best).

As Far as we all know, FS is sold out and will most likely not have any in stock till their sales is over. The price I have posted is not overpriced but only seem that way because of the sale. If you're interested and will come pick it up I can do $110 for 2 packs. I did not purchase them on sale just to resell them at a higher price. These were purchased before there was ever a sale.

yah if your in Canada FutureShop has got the deal , just picked up 4 packs of 30s for under 150 bucks with taxs yay!!!! lol going to find more today at another one

good thing ive got 4 of them around my area!

The manufacturing process is completely different. The layering which makes the Verbatim MIS discs the best DL discs available is not reproduced in any other facility in the world. That's why Verbatim MIS are better and more expensive. It's worth my peace of mind to pay a few cents extra.

checked this thread today to see my option - best choice ended up being Sams Club $59.99 for 50, and I could verify they were made in Singapore.

I did get some at Best Buy last week.
I picked up two packs and so far I've not had any issues.

I will be running there today to get some more. They are going for $40 for 20-Pack
That's not too bad, of coarse I'd rather have them $10 cheaper but ohh well.

I will be able to get a few off if I use my Best Buy Bucks.
