see this post, it can vary by a few bytes, may have nothing to do with your prob with R6V.

What X360 drive you  have/ FW?
Burner and speed?

I would personally retry a burn.
You have a samsung so it should not be important but I would still make sure the booktype is dvdrom and layerbreak set properly at 1913760. IF you have another burner / media type it is a possible test.

If none of that resolve it, it may be the image, try to extract again but using my X360 drive since you have a samsung.

I would flash your samsung with the latest FW.

Also starting with 4.0 there are two reading speed for samsung, have you tried making sure it reads same speed as original.

just to add my piece i can inform you that it isn't a problem with all backups of Rainbow Six Vegas, mine has successfully passed those two levels without so much as a hiccup

Ripped With: Xbox Backup Creator
Burnt With: ImgBurn (via .dvd file)
XBox Drive: Samsung MS25
PC Burner: Liteon DVDRW LH-18A1H
Media: RiDisc (8x)
Burnt At: 2.4x

I have just come across a problem with my backup for this game.  Previously, it was working as i had just completed a few checkpoints.  However, today when i try to play the game it loads pass the Unreal logo then goes into a loading screen (never getting to the main menu) - tells me that disc is unreadable.

I have check the disc there are no scratches or anything. Any suggestions?

used XBC to rip / ImgBurn to burn
pioneer 111D Verbatim disc at 2.4x.

you have the right elements: XBC, pioneer, verbatim.
Tempted to say it is either:
1) only this game doing that and it was a bad burn. (would redo it)
2) af few games doing it, your drive does not have the highest sensibility.

Im having a problem with getting my backup of rainbow six vegas to boot. When i insert it into the 360 it goes black for a second as if its going to load, but then goes back to dash and says disc is unreadable try cleaning it.Ive made about 4 coasters so far,and am using same media and burner that i used for a few other games i backed up that play perfectly.(fujifilm-ritek and samsung SH-S183L)I read with fw 5.2 booktype isnt needed, but i did set it to DVD-ROM just to see if it made a difference but it didnt.Im using XBC 2.5 and IMGburn 2.2 and also tried CloneCD but same results. Also made sure i set the layer break.
I have a ms-25 with fw 5.2A.
Any help is appreciated,thanks

is your original playing fine?
I would definitely try it on verbatim.
if it does not resolve it, if you can try a different burner!!

Mine is working great so it can be backed up
