I bought 20 of these disc for 22 bucks I have tried to burn multiple 360 files of my back up games to no avail. It  fails about twenty seconds in the process of reading the disc, have tried over 16 disc on what it started to write got to 52 percent and then failed. I tried reflashing my firmware to 1.23 dangerous brother, hook it up on a different computer. I tried to just burn and img. file a move only needing one layer. I have ran dvd info pro. I have tried img burn, and clone cd neither working. Has anyone with a pioneer 111d drive had any luck burning these am I just waisting my time here.

Read the link in my sig buddy.  Playo are Chinese/Hong Kong made junk with the faked Ricoh media ID code.  Not saying that it is 100% gauranteed that it is the media but it definitely is a far cry from the best to be using.

I get that but a mod on here suggested a use them a source I trust very much. I took them to my friends house it burned and played fine for him. I don't plan on buying these again but want to get my use out of them since they are already bought. If anyone has burned playo disc with the 111d what firmware version are you using mine is on 1.23 does anyone think if I update to buffalo software or the 1.29 it will help.

Whoever recommended the Playo discs to you seriously hasn't done an ounce of media research.  They just found something that worked for them and then assumed that it would work fine for anyone else who used it.
