I created this software to burn Xbox 360 images on mac by setting the layer break and not modifying the disk image in any way. It's still just proof of concept, but it works great for me. I programmed this in about 3 hours, so it's not pretty but it gets the job done.

It was fairly easy to do, I don't know why it has not been done yet. I think the mac developers are not as advanced as their pc counterparts as far as the hacking community goes. There are some incredibly smart programmers for the pc community here.

Tell me what your results are.

thanks i have been having a lot of trouble burning on my mac lately and this helps a lot! but the growisofs installer is a bad link now... is there another place i can download it from?

Hi, i found your topic about "MAC BACKUP BURNING" but the link to download the growisofs software is broken can tou help me ? Can you apply this tuto on Mac OS 10.5.5 with an iMac G5 PPC ? I have tried to burn a backup with 1Burn360 but no result ! The app says "burning is ok" but only 4,8 megas are burned. Thxs for your help and precision

Hi,

Iburn 360 wants to patch the iso and wot burn without on my Imac. Now I fear that it damages the iso. I can not check the DVD directly with abgx.
Can someone explain what Iburn is patching?

Burns wave 3 without problem, what is that problem anyway? Might not be OSX360.

I run it through abgx everything is fine but when I put it on osx it says stealth and video data fails...

Hi,

I'm having trouble burning 360 backups on Mac OS X.
I Got 10.5.7, OS X 360 v1.0 b4, Im using Verbs at 2,4x
I use Apple Framework.
Sometime it works, sometime it fails : always at the layerbreak

Should I use growisofs instead ?
I always reboot before burning because I'm an uptime nerd (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I don't have any problem burning on single layer
