It is a file, and yes you need to do it everytime.
Now the good thing is that with xbox creator you will extract all at once, One click and all is extracted and ready to burn.

You need good DL media burn at 2.4X, bitset to dvd-rom (burner ??)
If you extract with xbox creator and since you have a samsung x360 should work even more easily.

I do everything Pc (sh-d162c), so not 100% sure but I believe it is only to flash to you absolutely need a Via card. Plse someone confirm.

The new firmware supports SL for 0800 but it has not worked for everyone, still feel DL is safer. (but you may try a SL, they are cheaper

).

I just flashed a 0078k and Do games that I rip from a samsung drive thru xbox backup creator work on hitachis?

Because my gears of war that works on my MS28 doesn't work on this 0078k
