Question Based Around Globe 360 Mod Chip

I been reading some guide in the Tutorial section of the site about how to copy xbox 360 games and they all seem to need the drive to show up in my computer to be able to start copying the games.

So my questions are if i have a Globe 360 Mod chip can it just be connected up to the PC by USB and read the disc and burn it or do i need to flash Xtreme firmware 3.0 or does the mod chip Firmware supported copying games.

If the mod chip does supported copying games how would i go about copying them.

I have also seen this drive called "Pioneer DVR-111D, DVR-710 16X DVD Drive Burner OEM" if i get this do i need to use the xbox 360 to copy xbox/xbox 360 games or can this read and copy games.

Note: I did not know if this should have been posted in Newbie Chat or DVD DL help / ISO Building so i post it in DVD DL help / ISO Building if i posted it in the wrong place feel free to move it mods.
