Topic: Unplayable Disc (Read 35 times)

Ok.. so ive got my 360 since launch.. no problems whatsoever..

Got it flashed with latest firmware hack (got Hitachi 47J)

but now am facing a wierd problem..

Some backups i burn, i get unplayable disc errors (but many times they work on friend's xbox, they too have Hitachi 47J)

And here comes the even wierder part. Ive got this backup (game), which used to work fine. Now all of a sudden i get unplayable disc error (disc has no scratches,dirt,etc)

Any clues what may be wrong or any possible solutions?

Might be the laser..

Have you done a pot tweak?

nop.. not really..

lemme have a read thru the forums what it is exactly (hopefully i can do it, am no expert (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))

one more question.. will any laser from a dvdrom work?

got here a few pc dvdroms.. wonder if swapping my 360's laser with one of these is gonna do the job

No. It has to be the correct part for your drive
