Where Do You Buy Your Dual Layer Media?
« on: December 02, 2006, 12:41:00 PM »

Where do you buy your dual layer xbox 360 compatible media? I am looking for cases of 50 or 100 but can only seem to find 25 per pack.

Can anyone recommend a good brand and website to buy from. (Printable Face Only)

Thanks

Verbatim and Memorex have worked great for me.

http://www.newegg.com

They sell super cheap DL DVD's.  Never seen a 50 or 100 pack either.

Yup Best Buy and newegg are my two sources for D/L Verbatims (won't touch anything else for a D/L disc).

Or they simply won't ship to you.  Since you are in the UK, I recommend http://www.svp.co.uk

Maybe a bit late, but try www.shopneo.co.uk

I buy the AOne disks at £7 for 10.  Thier carriage costs are a bit pricey but I just wait and stock up on all my disk needs at once to reduce the cost.

I will vouch for the memorex mentioned. They show up as Ritek discs. Have worked great on both Samsung MS25 drive and Hitachi 47dj drives. Burned at 2.4x

Purchased at most major stores, as low as 25 for $35.

I basically looked for the cheapest there were. I've always done this for every system, and never had a problem with cheap discs. If I could find cheaper, id use them.

Hmm $1.40 for cheap quality stuff.  Newegg has the 20 packs of D/L Verbatim for $37 shipped up front and then a $10 MIR on top of that.  So $1.35 per disc for top quality D/L Verbatims after rebate.  Or you can get 20 packs at Microcenter this week for $30 ($1.50 per disc).  So I have a hard time when people keep going for cheapo media when there are such good deals on a regular basis on the Verbatim.
