Two Simple Questions

Just to clarify...

I have 2 360's (one in Lounge and one in Bedroom)..  If I make a backup of a game using one of my 360's will it work on both?

Also once i get my samsung DVD drive with kreons f/w  i will no longer have to open up my xbox360 again, is this correct?
