OK you have to have the latest Kai release.  Make sure you have a Kai gamer tag and pwd. Fire up Kai on your PC, hit Start Kai engine.  On your XBox make sure you have your gamer tag and pwd defined in the XML.  Once thats all done and the Kai engine is running on your PC, launch  XBMC, hit the Kai button, and you should see your gamer tag , below it a menu that cycles from Games, Friends and Arenas.  Choose an arena, Xbox->First, 3rd person shooter, sports, driving, etc.  Then choose a game, then youll see a list of all other people in that room.  If you want to play, exit back to the main menu of XBMC, hit My Programs, find the game you wanna play and fire it up.  This is not a only-on-your-xbox-solution, you must have the Kai launcher on your PC as it works with Ava/XBMC/whatever dash that has Kai integration.  Also make sure your PC and XBox are on the same subnet, Im not sure if Kai can 'see' across them.  <

it says in the XML that the feature is not supported in this build, which is why I think it doesn't work.   <

It works, just no one from the XBMC dev team is going to help getting it working for users.  Ive been using it for about a week and so have others.   <

hey buddy. Just got it set up myself (gamer tag A-dog), but one thing is confusing me. WHen you go to arena and you find some people under halo, does that mean that these people have a game in session? Or are they waiting to play. How will they know that I am about to go to system link, and once I get to system link in halo who sets up the game. Probably simple answers to these, but so far I haven't thought up a good answer. By the way, do you mean to do IGR (in game reset) to get back to the game, or click A to cancel the request and then back out to my programs. Thanks for any help.

Does this work with just xlink or will it work with xbconnect

I've tried the xlink setup described above - but all rooms show empty

This is a little off-topic I guess.. but is an xbox-only solution possible ?

I cant use Kai because something between my PC and my xbox (either my router or wireless AP) doesnt like packets from 0.0.0.0 ..  <
