They are made by CMC Magnetics and as has been mentioned in the other thread the results really depend on your burner/firmware and your particular 360 drive so it is really impossible to predict the reliability of these discs as there are so many variables. Are there people that have had these discs work for them? Absolutely. However this proves little since there are so many variables. I suggest taking a look at the error rate scans threads for CMC Mag D/L discs in the following threads. It doesn't necessarily tell you how they work in 360 drives but it will give you a pretty good idea about what kind of burn quality to expect from various DVD Burners and firmware revisions (an easy method of measurement is to look at the quality score, anything below an 85 is questionable at best).

hmmm i think i might try these philips then if you say they do work. Which kind of burner did you use I bought the pioneer 111d and havent changed any firmware on it etc. 25/$40 is such a bargin and it will tide me until the verbatims are cheap again! THanks

It's probably the stock V1.29 then as that is the latest and it has been around for a couple of months.
