Bitsetting Question

put your burned disc in the pc and use dvdinfopro to check the media info. It should say Book Type is DVD-ROM, if not then it is not bitsetting correctly.

From what I have found, you can bitset with ImgBurn (probably other progs as well), but before changing the book type, you have to have your media in the drive, and it changes back after each burn. (i.e. you have to set it manually each time you burn a disc.)

This thread has some information about it:

Imgburn worked awsome for Booktype setting.  Disk still doesn't work.  I'll keep trying.

I bought a Samsung drive SH-S182M to backup xbox360 discs. It is nearly identical to the one you are trying to use.

My experience
I wasted 9 disks trying to make it work. Never got 1.

Bought a Pioneer 111d and never made a bad one since.  love.gif

I wish I never tried the SH-S182... grr.gif
Not only does it not work to burn it takes WAY longer to rip.

My pioneer with WXripper=16-18 min.
the  samsung 30 min?

Update:

Purchased, Pioneer DVR 111D.
Using WxRipper Method.

Got one step further.  Dvd was recognized but I got a dirty disk error.  THe MD5 was Red in ss Merger, I'm still not quite sure how it works completely.  I extracted the ss.bin from original game, no prob.  I detected the ss.bin from Iso, it told me that there are 5 different ss.bins in database.  I have NTSC Box Don't know where to go from there.

Want to know how to create a dummy disk that is 8Gb+ for WxRipper Method

Any info or hints would be awsome

THanks
